Join us Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 7 AM for a race through the beautiful woods and thickets of South Brazos County. We offer multiple distances of 5k/10k/25k through the post oaks, yaupon holly, and Cherokee roses. If you want to explore new territories in a race, it doesn’t get any better than this! This is the perfect trail race for a first-timer!
About the Course/Trails
The basis of the course is a 5k loop. The 5k will run the loop once, the 10k will run the loop twice, and if you are feeling loopy, the 25k will run the loop 5 times.
The rolling, twisting, medium technical course consists of trails through the Post Oak Savannah and will insure a fun and challenging running experience. Volunteers will be placed throughout the course to encourage you as you run. There are a short parts along a gravel road, but there is no pavement on any part of the course. You will experience single track trails, shaded grassy trails, and a portion of gravel road. The race is at the Millican Reserve on FM 2154 south of College Station.
Take a look at the Course Map.
The 25k time limit is 5 hours.
